Fair Play Policy For Coaches

2022 Season

This applies to ALL coaches for every division and conference. Regular season play WILL BE equal play time. This includes all power plays and penalty kills. Please remember, regular season does not have any bearing towards the playoffs. All playoff pools are a random draw.  As of June 1, 2022, coaches may run a designated power play and penalty kill in the regular season. This is in preparation for the upcoming playoffs and Provincials. Do not run your power play or penalty kill and then put the same top guys out for the next shift.

Playoffs and Provincials play time is at the coach's discretion. All forms of play (power play, penalty kill and regular 5-on-5) is up to the coach. With that being said, be careful when shortening the bench too early. That can hurt the team more than sitting the weaker players. This is coming from past experience.

Remember, everyone wants to play and have fun.

There is a zero tolerance on the fair play policy. Failure to comply will result in review by our Disciplinary committee.  This could result in game(s) suspensions. The board are all volunteers, we do not need any extra stress and complaints.
