The Benefits of Ball Hockey
Lower Registration Fees
Our league fees are about 2 to 3 times less than those associated with minor hockey and adult rec ice hockey
Minimal Equipment
Minimal equipment (Gloves, Stick & Helmet) provides two major benefits: Fewer costs associated due to minimal equipment and the convenience of coming to the rink and only having to put on your shoes, gloves and helmet, taking about 3-4 minutes to get ready.
Skating Eliminated
The fact that the sport of ball hockey is played on feet, eliminates skating and bridges the gap of skill sets associated with the skating in ice hockey.
Conditioning
A player can expect to burn between 600 and 900 calories in one game, which is a lot more fun than running on a treadmill for an hour 🙂
Social
A great way to meet new friends, that share a common interest through a sport
Ice hockey Player Benefits
Improved Conditioning, stickhandling, hand-eye coordination and overall game sense.
